11-year-old girl dies following ATV crash

Tucson, Ariz. (KGUN) – An 11-year-old girl died and a 15-year-old was injured Tuesday while riding an ATV near Amado’s West Arrivaka Road.

The incident occurred in Block 4700 of West Delacanoa, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

The two girls were riding an ATV in the neighborhood, with a 15-year-old boy behind them and an 11-year-old boy in front. Did. PCSD said.

A 15-year-old boy was treated at the scene for minor injuries. An 11-year-old girl died while being transported to the hospital.

The PCSD said the girls were not wearing protective gear and were not licensed to drive ATVs.
