Major news networks have launched a new messaging campaign portraying Trump-Vance as “weird,” with two networks each using the term more than 160 times on Monday alone.
The term has risen in popularity among Democrats and the media, particularly CNN and MSNBC, and has become a commonly used attack term since President Joe Biden announced he would not seek reelection. According to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation, MSNBC used the term 179 times in reference to Trump or Vance across a variety of occasions, including panel discussions, aired video clips and direct comments by network hosts and guests. Monday's episode of “Inside with Jen Psaki,” hosted by Biden's former White House press secretary, used the term 35 times in reference to Trump or Vance.

“Morning Joe” used the term 32 times in reference to Trump or Vance, according to the DCNF investigation. “Morning Joe” viewers also reported that Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Direct On Monday, he also used the word “weird” to describe Trump and Vance.
