2 dead after car crash in Page

According to the Page Police Department, the accident happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

PAGE, Ariz. — Two people were killed and two others were sent to the hospital after a crash involving a drunk driver in Page, city police said.

The accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when a driver traveling on South Navajo Drive lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a nearby wall.

Police said the driver and one passenger died in the crash, while the other two were taken to hospital.

Investigators believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash. The identities of those killed have not been released at this time.
