Gila Bend, Arizona — Maricopa County Sheriff Investigators are investigating the shootings of two people near Gila Bend on Monday afternoon.

Around 1 p.m., someone with gunshot wounds entered the Girabend Fire Station on Interstate 8, MCSO said.

This prompted officers to head to Interstate 8 and Palomas, where officials said another person had been shot.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the shooting.

The victim’s identity has not been determined at this time.
