Oh my gosh, what a wild night it was!
The Copa America final between Argentina and Colombia was already a hard-fought contest, but on Sunday night Argentina ultimately won 1-0 to claim their 16th title in the tournament's history. But that score paled in comparison to the score given by Miami-Dade Police.
When the pre-game unrest at Hard Rock Stadium subsided, authorities had seen 27 arrests and 55 ejections. (Related: Luis de la Fuente interested in becoming US national team manager, but is it feasible?: Report)

The game was eventually postponed for more than 75 minutes as fans swarmed the gates and forced their way into the stadium.

As I said in my last blog post…
“This is no different to Saturday night's thrilling match between Boca Juniors and River Plate in the Superclásico. It's just going to be more interesting because it's happening in America.”
My point remains true.
