CBS News reported that a small plane crash in Massachusetts on Sunday claimed the lives of three people.
The accident occurred around noon near Country Club Road in Greenfield, which is known for being heavily wooded in the county. The aircraft involved was a twin-engine Beechcraft Baron 55, a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokesperson confirmed. CBS News. “Preliminary information is that the plane crashed under unknown circumstances near the Leiden Wildlife Management Area with three people on board,” the NTSB said in a statement, CBS News reported. “NTSB investigators are on their way to the scene and are expected to arrive tomorrow. Once on scene, investigators will document the scene and begin the process of examining the aircraft.”
