3 dead in Mohave Valley, Arizona fire identified

The identities of three people found dead in a house fire in northern Arizona have been determined.

Alexander Galvez, 54, Janelle Norris, 53, were found dead in a Mojave Valley home in the early hours of Dec. 10, according to a news release. The three were identified as Melia Loftin, 20, who was pregnant. Wednesday, according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

A 20-year-old man with serious injuries was taken to Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mojave and then transferred to a hospital in Las Vegas.

Around 2 a.m., deputies responded to a fully engulfed home in the 2100 block of Lone Star Drive in Mojave Valley, about 37 miles south of Laughlin and 115 miles south of Las Vegas, the sheriff's office said. called.

Neighboring residents reported to police that a person had come out of the house during the fire. A 20-year-old man is hospitalized. He told his agent that his fiance and parents were inside the home and were missing.

After the fire was extinguished, firefighters found three sets of human remains inside the home, according to the sheriff's office.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and an investigation is ongoing, according to a news release.
