4-year-old girl hit, killed by car in San Tan Valley

Santan Valley, Arizona (3TV/CBS 5) — A young girl was struck and killed by a car in the San Tan Valley area late last week. She was identified as 4-year-old Mia Preston.

According to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office, on Friday, February 23, at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to a call near the Pinal County Sheriff's Office. Combs Road and Painted Desert Drive. There, emergency services found Preston with serious injuries from being hit by his car. She was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
