911 Audio Reveals Moments After Bronny James’ Cardiac Arrest

Audio from the 911 call released Friday reveals Bronnie James’ post-cardiac arrest.

Bronnie, the 18-year-old son of basketball legend LeBron James, was rushed to the ICU Monday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest and collapsing on the court. Reports later said he was discharged from hospital on Thursday, confirming his condition was stable and resting at home.

An unnamed person at the University of Southern California’s Galen Center called an emergency number at 9:26 a.m. and requested, “Call an ambulance immediately,” according to the audio. The operator sent an emergency order to find James, who was unconscious at the time. The caller confirmed with the operator that there were no health care workers on site.

“We need an ambulance immediately,” said the caller.

“Okay, sir,” replied the operator.

“Listen, listen, call an ambulance now,” said the caller.

“Do you have a doctor? A scene with them or a registered nurse?” asked the dispatcher.

“No, there are no doctors here,” said the caller.

“Okay, help is coming, okay? Come next to him,” said the dispatcher.

Doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center were conscious by the time he entered the ICU, thanks to the work of paramedics, TMZ told TMZ. report.

TMZ reports that doctors are still trying to determine the cause of the cardiac arrest.
