Ghislaine Maxwell Provides Information on Epstein Links
On Friday, Ghislaine Maxwell’s attorney shared that she has answered questions regarding about 100 individuals allegedly associated with Jeffrey Epstein.
David Oscar Marx, her lawyer, mentioned that Maxwell underwent extensive questioning over two days, covering “everything you could imagine.” Following her conviction for sex trafficking and conspiracy charges in 2021, which resulted in a 20-year sentence, this marks a significant development.
“This was the first chance she had to respond to inquiries about what has transpired so far,” Marx stated. “The truth about Mr. Epstein’s circumstances is coming to light, and she is the one providing those answers.”
Justice requires courage. For the first time, the Department of Justice has reached out to Ghislaine Maxwell, and I have contacted her attorney. I plan to meet her soon. The law doesn’t have exceptions.
– Todd Blanche
Maxwell met with Associate Attorney General Todd Blanche on Thursday, discussing her involvement with Epstein and the human trafficking network.
In a recent post, Blanche indicated he would return for a second day of interviews with her.
The environment surrounding these legal matters has raised eyebrows, with some legal analysts suggesting her cooperation could be part of a strategy for leniency from President Trump.
When questioned about whether Maxwell was helping his case, Trump acknowledged his authority but remarked, “it’s something I didn’t think about.”
Reporter: What do you hope Blanche gains from talking with Ghislaine Maxwell?
Trump: People need to really focus on how well the country is doing.
This past Wednesday, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer issued a subpoena for Ghislaine Maxwell, after the committee unanimously voted to secure her testimony.
Reporter: Have you ever explained that your name is in the Epstein Files?
Trump: No.
Trump claimed on Friday that, despite a report from the Wall Street Journal, there hasn’t been any proper explanation regarding his name being mentioned in the Epstein Files. He referred to earlier information he received in May, confirming his name was on that list.
