Nell Brown Enters Alabama Rep. 15th District Race
Nell Brown has officially joined the race for the Alabama Rep. 15th District, bringing a powerful message of inclusion and action.
“I’m not running to be a politician. I want to be a civil servant,” Brown stated. “Our community has been neglected for far too long. Our schools are underfunded, and our working families are struggling. I’ve experienced these challenges myself.”
A lifelong resident of McCalla, Brown is married, has three children, and is a proud graduate of Miles College. Currently, she’s working towards a Juris Doctor at Miles School of Law, with a background in business management, community advocacy, and leadership.
Her campaign will address key issues affecting Alabama, including equal funding for public education, access to affordable healthcare, infrastructure improvements, economic opportunities, and greater accountability in Montgomery.
“Once I’m in Montgomery, I won’t remain silent,” Brown asserted. “I plan to show up, speak out, and advocate for what is right. I will dedicate myself daily to improving the lives of the constituents who elected me.”
As she kicks off her campaign, Brown is calling on residents to participate in her effort. She highlighted the importance of grassroots engagement—volunteering, spreading the word, and providing financial support to make the race competitive.
“This isn’t just my campaign; it’s ours,” she remarked. “Together, we can achieve real and lasting change for District 15.”
A 2009 graduate of Miles College with a degree in business management, Nell Brown has committed her life to service, justice, and community. She aims to bring integrity, compassion, and action to the Alabama Capitol to support her family and constituents.
