Senate candidate Steve Marshall reveals statewide finance team supported by Alabama business figures

Candidates Gear Up for Alabama Senate Race

As the 2026 Republican primary approaches, with the vacancy left by U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn), candidates are ramping up their fundraising efforts to secure a win.

On Monday, one candidate announced his Senate campaign and introduced “Steve Marshall’s Statewide Finance Committee,” garnering endorsements from various business leaders across the state.

The campaign emphasizes Marshall’s considerable backing from influential individuals who have actively contributed to Alabama’s economic growth.

“I am proud to support Steve Marshall for the US Senate,” stated Danny McKinney of McKinney Capital. “As a local prosecutor and Alabama’s Attorney General, Steve has consistently shown his commitment to crime victims through proactive prosecution.” He added, “All Alabamians will be proud that Steve Marshall will continue to serve as our next US Senator. When it comes to performance, Steve Marshall stands out.”

Marshall himself expressed enthusiasm for the individuals supporting his finance committee, highlighting their influence in expanding job opportunities in Alabama. “As Attorney General, I’ve collaborated with state leaders to foster a business-friendly atmosphere. If elected as your US Senator, I will remain a strong advocate for Alabama’s workforce.”
