Tragic Death of Activist Charlie Kirk
ALP, the company behind a nicotine pouch, has made a significant donation of $1 million following the tragic death of activist Charlie Kirk. This donation comes alongside the creation of a Givesendgo page set up to support Kirk’s family in the wake of his murder.
Kirk was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, leaving behind his wife, Erica, and their two young children. The Givesendgo page invites friends and supporters to contribute to the family during this difficult time.
“I met Charlie when I was an 18-year-old through my friend Foster Freis, and we stayed in touch ever since. He truly was a remarkable person,” said Tucker Carlson, who expressed his grief over the incident. “It’s difficult to articulate how we feel at a moment like this, or really to comprehend what has occurred.”
In a tweet, Carlson emphasized his desire to assist Kirk’s widow and children, stating, “I want to do everything I can for Erika and her little ones. We’ve set up a page on Givesendgo and initiated a $1 million donation from ALP. All contributions will go directly to Charlie’s family.”
Reports indicate that a gunshot rang out while Kirk was addressing students, striking him from a building approximately 200 yards away. Eyewitness videos captured security hurriedly escorting him away from the scene.
He was rushed to a local hospital with critical injuries and ultimately succumbed, as confirmed by a source close to his team.
Kirk’s remains are set to be transported to Phoenix on Thursday aboard Air Force 2, accompanying close family members, friends, and Vice Presidents J.D. Vance and the Second Lady. Notably, Vance altered his plans to attend the September 11 memorial, opting instead to support Kirk’s family during this tough time.
As of now, the FBI has yet to make any arrests related to the shooting. The Salt Lake City Field Office is appealing to the public for help in identifying any individuals who may have information pertinent to the case.
