Former NFL defensive back Eric Johnson is one of eight people charged with human trafficking in Georgia.
The eight arrested face a variety of charges, including human trafficking, extortion, aggravated assault, kidnapping and gang-related crimes, according to Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr. The former Nebraska player is listed as a resident of Georgia’s DeKalb County, which includes parts of Atlanta, and has been charged with conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, count of trafficking for sex slaves, and faces three charges.
