Teen Arrested After Shooting in Flagstaff
Flagstaff, Arizona – A teenager is facing serious charges following an incident where he allegedly shot a woman in his apartment on Saturday morning.
According to police reports, 19-year-old Tayvion Anderson, who is from Winslow, shot an unidentified victim around 7:45 AM. This took place on University Avenue, just west of Milton Road. After the shooting, Anderson fled the scene.
The woman was rushed to the hospital and her condition was reported as critical.
Authorities stated that Anderson was located and taken into custody after an extensive search of the area. He now faces several charges, including the use of lethal weapons, misconduct involving weapons, and aggravated assault.
Flagstaff police have not disclosed any details about what might have led to the shooting or whether the suspect and the victim were acquainted.
