Technology and AI: A New Frontier
There’s something about this tech story that really makes you question the future. It’s reminiscent of a dad who’s oddly nonchalant about his daughter working on OnlyFans.
DecartAI is an innovative startup that claims to be the first in the world to develop an AI model capable of “transforming” the environment in real time through a virtual reality headset.
You can check out how this technology functions in the video below.
DecartXR: Where AI meets XR
“Welcome to the oasis” 🥽An open-source app that allows you to modify the world in real time just by speaking. A new way to create, build, and imagine—live.

If you’re like me and often feel overwhelmed by technology and AI, it’s natural to feel a bit uneasy about these advancements.
The future of video is here. 🔮🎬
We’re thrilled to team up with these innovators. @DecartAI powers the groundbreaking MirageLSD model exclusively on Crusoe Cloud.

Just think for a sec about all the lonely young folks out there using this AI tech as a sort of escape from their reality.
And then picture all the unsavory characters, putting on their VR headsets, launching the DecartXR app, and walking around a virtual city. Yeah, it’s a bit unsettling. If their promotional material reflects real-life interactions, then it feels like we’re veering off course.
However, I suspect the company might be designing its AI to prevent transforming a clothed individual in the real world into a bikini-clad figure in the virtual domain. At least, I hope that’s the case.
Given this trajectory, I have to say, I’m not feeling particularly hopeful about where AI is headed and how it’s going to be utilized.
