Unidentified Model on Trump’s Desk Sparks Speculation About New Arlington Arch

Speculation Arises Over Possible New Monument Near Lincoln Memorial

A peculiar 3D model found on President Donald Trump’s desk has sparked conversations about a potential new monument set to be constructed near the Lincoln Memorial. This came to light during a meeting between Trump and Finnish leaders on Thursday.

Photographer Jim Watson captured images of the model, which seemingly depicts an aerial view of the Lincoln Memorial area. Among its features is a miniature Arc de Triomphe placed just across the Potomac River.

The model showcases a golden-winged angel on top of a structure, with two white eagles on either side. Next to this, a larger version of the design rests on the Resolute Desk.

This concept aligns closely with earlier renderings released by Harrison Design partner Nicolas Leo Charbonneau, which depicted an Arc de Triomphe at a roundabout near Arlington National Cemetery. Interestingly, there’s currently no indication that Harrison Design is linked to the federal government in any way.

The timing of this model’s introduction correlates with the lead-up to America’s 250th anniversary in 2026, an event Trump is incorporating into his national strategic plan, including the National Garden of American Heroes and other patriotic festivities.

While some commentators have noted this initiative, the White House has yet to confirm any specifics regarding the monument project, including funding or construction details. They did not respond to inquiries about the situation.
