On February 3, 2023, the day after the initial negotiated extension expired, Diginity Health announced that while negotiations continued between Dignity YRMC, Dignity YRMG, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, coverage would be terminated. announced that it has been extended.
To ensure fair and responsible contracts that benefit the Yavapai County community, Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) and Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group (YRMG), and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) have agreed to further extend the negotiation period to Monday 6 February 2023. A patient subscribing to BCBSAZ will maintain in-network access to her YRMC and YRMG services, facilities and providers until Labor Day.
