The UNC basketball program continues to navigate the final week of the 2022-23 college basketball season, and the future of the program is in the hands of the 2023 and 2024 recruiting classes.
UNC welcomes the following in its two recruiting classes for 2023: Simeon Wilcher and Seiden High Both are committed. Both players have improved their game since joining the program, but neither appears to be nationally recognized.
After the UNC commit failed to name the McDonald’s All-American Game, now the same is being said about the Allen Iverson Roundball Classic.
The annual All-Star Game unveiled its roster to highlight the best high school basketball players in the country. Includes star recruits.

Despite not having a representative in the All-Star Game, that’s not a bad thing for the 2023 Tar Heels class. Both Wilcher and High are showing flashes and should have a chance to make an immediate impact on the program’s next season.
