Bullhead City – The Kingman High School baseball team improved to 2-1 with a 6-0 victory over the hosts Mojave Accelerated on Monday, March 6.
Freshman Cody Padilla pitched two batters with 14 strikeouts and no walks to record the victory for Kingman.
Sophomore Isaiah Houston led Kingman 2-3 in 2 RBIs and an RBI. Junior Dylan Towning scored two RBIs and two for the winner, and Padilla hit safely.
Lee Williams made the most of the hit with eight stolen bases.

KINGMAN – The Kingman Academy baseball team went 9-0 in two innings and finished things off with a 9-thirds run at NFL YET High School 18=1 at Southside Park in Kingman on Tuesday, March 7. I visited
The Academy had 17 hits, including five on overtime base, to record the win and pass the season record at 2-2.
Jr. Cade Benson had a triple, two singles, three RBIs and drove in three runs to give the winner an offensive lead. Junior Kaysen short added his three hits, including a double, while Junior Ryan Gardener had a double, a single, and two RBIs.
Junior Trevan Jacks and freshman Lily Otto also had two hits for the winner.
The 10-run Mercy rule cut the game down to four innings. Short stole six hitters and let two off to close the distance.

The Phoenix-Kingman Academy High School women’s softball team scored 22 runs in the third and fourth innings in a 29-1 four-inning loss to hosts NFL Yet Academy High School.
Senior Samantha Ogborne went 4-for-5 and scored four runs in three sets of doubles and academy suitable for five RBIs.
Sophomore Lauren Page drove four runs for the winner, while freshman Tailey Mote scored five.
Junior Faithle Lafirenza had four hits, including a double for the Lady Tigers, while seniors Annika Larsen and Kimber Privett each had two.
The Academy improved to 3–1 in a winning season. NFL It is 0-1.

Goodyear – The Lee Williams High School boys’ tennis team defeated host Agua Julia High School 8-1 at Goodyear on Tuesday, March 7.
Lee Williams’ singles winners were No. 1 Cohen Juelphs (6-0, 6-1), No. 3 sophomore Conner Brown (6-2, 6-2), and No. 4 Jr. Brigham Damron ( 6-0, 6-1). -0), 5th grade Max Swap (6-2, 6-1), and 6th grade Ethan Bremmer (6-0, 6-0).
Lee Williams’ doubles winners were No. 1 Juelfs and junior Tyler McNiven (8-4), No. 2 Damron and Brown, and No. 3 Swapp and Bremmer.
