Yavapai College Announces the Naming of the Jim and Linda Lee Performing Arts Center

Yavapai College and the Yavapai College Foundation are pleased to announce that the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center has been named the Jim and Linda Lee Performing Arts Center.

The naming was approved by the College’s District Steering Committee in February, recognizing the establishment of the Jim and Linda Lee Foundation for the Performing Arts at Yavapai College.

This foundation will provide sustained support to the performing arts at Yavapai College to continue bringing cutting-edge talent to our community through premier arts and entertainment venues in northern Arizona.

“On behalf of Yavapai College and the Yavapai College District Steering Committee, I would like to thank Jim and Linda for their tremendous generosity, which will no doubt have an impact on the performing arts and our community.” Yavapai College Dean Lisa Line said. .

For more than 40 years, Jim and Linda Lee have increased their presence in the Prescott area, especially in the performing arts and sciences, through visionary leadership and the generous charitable support of dozens of community organizations. Beyond that, their efforts to create and develop upscale residential and commercial developments have resulted in economic growth and prosperity in the region.

Lee’s name will be placed on a prominent sign outside the Performing Arts Center. Additionally, a dedication ceremony and reception to publicly honor the Lees and recognize the unique impact of this gift on Yavapai College will follow the installation of the sign later this year.
