Licensed home care is the care of an infant in the home where the provider lives.
Licensed providers care for up to 8 children from newborn to 12 years old. This includes your own children.
Licensed providers follow state rules and regulations regarding licensed health, safety, and training standards.
State licensing staff regularly visit licensed family day care centers to ensure that all rules and regulations are met.
With over half of all mothers with children under the age of five working outside the home, licensed family child care providers offer a valuable service to communities and parents.
Orphanages are places where children play, grow and learn.
The Early Childhood Education Commissions (ECCYWK) of Yuma, Washington and Kit Carson counties are supporting people throughout the approval process.
