SAFFORD — Spring means another busy weekend in Southeast Arizona.
The 8th Annual Community Baby Shower will be held at 9am on Friday at the Safford Library. Over 12 Services Her providers and vendors share information and free items for expectant parents and parents with children up to 1 year old. Admission is free.
The Wilcox West Fest Ranch Rodeo and Chuck Wagon Cook-Off are also held at Quail Park on Fridays at 9am. The event runs through Sunday and admission and parking are free.
The two-day Arizona Fun Fest Pop Culture and Comic Convention at the Ag Building in the Graham County Fairgrounds takes place Fridays from 4-10pm and Saturdays from 10am-6pm. .
Saturday is packed with activities, starting at 7am with Gila Hank’s Sprint Triathlon at Eastern Arizona College.

Registration opens at 11:00 am and play starts at noon. The cost is $40 per team.

The Graham County Democratic Party will host its annual fundraiser Rose Mofford Dinner at 6:00 p.m. at the Mount Graham Golf Club.
