Celebrate Rough Riders 125th Anniversary

Yavapai County residents are invited to attend the regular Yavapai County Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 to recognize the rough riders.

As part of the conference, Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Chairman Craig Brown will read the “Rough Riders” Day Proclamation. In addition, a copy of the decree will be presented to the military group and photographed at the board meeting. The meeting will begin at 9:00 am on May 3, 2023 in his Prescott Board Room, 1015 Fair St., Prescott, AZ 86305.

Later, at noon on Thursday, May 4, 2023, Chairman Brown and other local officials will gather at the “Rough Riders” statue in Courthouse Plaza for a wreath laying ceremony and a “Rough Riders” Day declaration to commemorate. Read aloud. 125th anniversary.
