Richard Roy “Dick” Deaver, 91, died of natural causes on May 2, 2023 at his home in Washington, Utah. Dick was born on November 11, 1931 in Flagstaff, Arizona, to Chester F. and Lucille Gladys his deaver. He spent most of his life in Flagstaff. Dick graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1949 and served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He married his high school sweetheart Bonille Swift in 1952. She passed away in her 2014. He had three children, Dana in 1956, Perry in 1960 and Roy in 1964. 38 years. His work ethic, compassion for others, tenacity and dedication have kept him at the top of his profession in Arizona. He was a talented motivator and speaker.
Despite his successful business, Dick was very humble and felt he needed to return the favor. He is a member of Flagstaff Hospital/Medical Center, Northern Arizona Health Care, Flagstaff Federation Church, Red He Rocks Church, Sedona He United Methodist Board of Trustees, and Flagstaff His Ski Club. served as chairman.he was 32nd-Mason degree. He has served as President of the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce, Northern Arizona Foundation, Flagstaff Housing Authority, Coconino County Recreation Authority, Coconino County Board of Supervisors, Arizona He has served as president of the Easter Seal Society, Flagstaff Lions Club, Northern Arizona Life Insurance Company I was.
Dick enjoys hiking the Grand Canyon, fly-fishing Leeds Ferry and Oak Creek, antique cars (especially his 1955 T-Bird and 1956 Corvette), building and collecting model trains, silversmithing and Southwestern furniture. I loved the production of

Dick is survived by his daughter Perry Marlowe (Stephen), son-in-law David Williams, grandchildren Beau and Ben Marlowe, Daniel and Christopher Williams, Meghan and William Deaver. The lights in his life in recent years have been his great-grandchildren Grace, Benjamin, Henry, Jacob, Mary, and Charles Richard Marlowe.
