Tucson, Arizona (KGUN) — Mother Willona White and her two sons Jaden White and Talmadge Holmes were found shot dead on July 1, 2021. The shooting took place the day before he was on June 30th.

John Edwards James has been charged with murder. James is serving time at the Pima County Jail after police found drugs, bloody clothing, ammunition and firearm accessories in his home due to a search warrant related to the murder.

The trial will take place after the end of the 7th day. State prosecutors spent the day presenting witnesses and evidence linking James to the case. James, claiming the evidence was insufficient, asked his second lead detective in the case, “Are you influencing the witnesses to implicate me?”

The case is expected to continue next Friday and Tuesday.
