Walter Morman IV, 24, shot near 19th Northern Avenue, Phoenix
what happened: Phoenix police were conducting welfare checks when they discovered a man with a gunshot wound. He was confirmed dead at the scene. Police are investigating it as a homicide.
where and when: May 9 at approximately 5:30 am near 19th Street and Butler Drive.
Arrest and Indictment: No arrests have been made yet.

Aloysius Mamattah, 28, shot dead in Phoenix
what happened: Phoenix Police have been called to investigate reports of injuries. They found a man with a bullet wound. Police said he died at the scene.
where and when: Near 27th Street and Bethany Home Road at about 3:00 am on May 9th.
Arrested or Prosecuted: No arrests have been made yet.

Danielle Cassidy, 66, found with ‘clear signs of trauma’
what happened: Police received a call about an “unknown trouble” from a caller who said he found an injured and unresponsive man. Responding officers found a man with “clear signs of trauma,” according to Phoenix Police.
where and when: Before 5:30 a.m. on May 7, in the 32nd Street and Cactus Road area.

18-year-old Jeremiah Aviles dies in Mesa while graduating
what happened: Police said they found Jeremiah Aviles dead inside the Mesa home after responding to a call to the shooting. Avilés was part of his football team at Mesa’s Reds, a senior set graduating from Mountain High School in a few weeks.
when and where: Just before 2am on May 6th, near Lindsey Road and University Drive in Mesa.
arrest: The suspect was not arrested.
Errol Morgan, 30, stabbed to death in Phoenix
what happened: Phoenix police responded to a call about the stabbing. When officers arrived on the scene, they found an adult male with a stab wound. Firefighters confirmed the man’s death at the scene, police said.
Detectives took over the investigation and found that the stabbed man and the suspect had a knife fight before he was stabbed. Police say the suspect is believed to have left the area and injured himself before police arrived.
where and when: Around 10:19 a.m. on May 3 around 48:00th Washington Street in Phoenix.
Arrest and Indictment: An unidentified man was detained and made a statement in his defense. He was released from custody and his charges were submitted to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for review.

Tanner Lewis, 18, dies of gunshot wound in Mesa
what happened: Police said 18-year-old Tanner Lewis was found with a gunshot wound to the head after responding to a shooting call. Police said the man was taken to a hospital where he later died.
As a result of the investigation, police said they learned that four people had broken into the house Lewis was in and a confrontation had erupted. Police believe a 17-year-old boy pulled out a gun and shot Lewis during the fight. Those who entered the house fled and headed for Mesa’s residence.
when and where: April 30th around 5pm near 16th Street and Warner Drive at Apache Junction.
arrest: A 17-year-old boy whose identity is unknown because he is underage has been arrested and taken to prison.
