Title 42 finished on Thursday night. Pandemic-era policies allowed border agents to repatriate asylum seekers to Mexico.
At the U.S.-Mexico border in Yuma County, officials processed hundreds of migrants at two locations. One to the west of Somerton where the border fence ends and the land of Cocopa begins, and another just north of it.
Hours after Title 42 ended just before 9pm local time, agents processed immigrants and they boarded buses.
The group included single adult men and family units with children.
