This MN Lake Rivals the Caribbean’s Crystal Clear Blue Water

Anyone who has been to the Caribbean knows how beautiful the crystal clear blue waters are. It is a beauty that will never be forgotten.

Living in a country of 10,000 lakes, we have a few of every kind. Some are fairly clear, some are cloudy, some are shallow, some are deep. some weeds etc.

according to Onlyinyourstate.com, Deer Lake is located in Itasca County near Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Known as one of the most beautiful lakes in the state. The bright blues of spring give way to iridescent colors during the day and the colors of the setting sun at night. In fact, it’s been nicknamed the “color-changing lake.”

Deer Lake is also one of Minnesota’s largest lakes, covering approximately 4,000 acres. The small islands on the lake are teeming with wildlife, including eagles and bears.

You don’t need to visit a tropical island when this gem of a lake is nearby. Standing on the clear blue waters of Deer Lake on a clear day, you’ll know you’re in the Caribbean.
