Seven Canyons is thrilled to have Executive Chef Cord Chatham lead Seasons’ culinary operations. Since graduating from Arizona Culinary School in 2006, he has established himself as an authority on the culinary industry and has won numerous awards, including AZ Travel and Tourism Heart of the Year. And Kord has further developed his leadership and culinary expertise, earning Kai restaurants a Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond rating. Kai Restaurant is the only restaurant in Arizona to earn such a rating.
His philosophy in the kitchen is that ‘everything is relative, but there are standards that must not deviate’. That philosophy is reflected in every dish he makes. His passion for blending fresh, seasonal, local, farm-to-table ingredients to create delicious dishes is in perfecting his craft. And he’s proud to create an extensive on-site restaurant garden, with an emphasis on fresh, organic and sustainable food.
Code chefs are hardworking and passionate about what they do. He is dedicated to providing his members with a consistent and memorable experience. He is an active participant in the community and regularly participates in youth activities with his family. Cord has been married to his wife Lauren for seven years and has three children and his one granddaughter.
Pairing perfectly with Code Chef’s culinary talents is Teresa Swanson, Seasons Food & Beverage Director and Events Manager. She has extensive hospitality experience and is passionate about details and excellent service. She successfully helped Seven Canyons win her 2016 Golden Fork Award, which is given to the most improved golf club restaurant and bar. Teresa is from New Jersey and has lived in the local community for over 10 years. Outside of her job, she enjoys the outdoors, wine, food, warm weather, and spending time with her husband. She is married to Sean and has a young son.
