YUMA, Arizona — A homicide investigation is underway in Yuma County after a woman’s body was found Monday morning, officials say
of Yuma County Sheriff’s Office identified the woman as Georgina Montoya, 35, of Somerton, Arizona.
Montoya’s body was found at 11:42 a.m. in Yuma’s 1E Avenue and County 18th Street area.
The sheriff’s office did not say how Montoya was killed, but confirmed she was a murder victim.
