Milky Way and Night Sky Workshop with Bob Coates

As a resident of Sedona, Arizona, I have had the opportunity to explore and find many beautiful locations for landscape photography. The only good ones in my opinion are night shots featuring the Milky Way and the sky.

Learn how to photograph the night sky

2 nights and 3 days of learning are waiting. There are many tips and tricks for getting the most out of your night sky photography. When you first arrive in Sedona, head to a classroom to learn best practices for night sky photography. This includes how to find the Milky Way, how to set up your camera, how to focus, and how to make the most of your time here. What should I do after creating an image? Photoshop processing lessons are also available.

The skills learned in the workshop can be used anywhere.

We plan to spend two nights in a place suitable for photographing the Milky Way, despite being at the mercy of nature and the weather. Star trails are also covered.

Enjoy dinner with me at one of Sedona’s top restaurants and network with other photographers in the class. Free time to explore Sedona is also scheduled.
