We Got Our Hands On ESPN’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Anaheim’ Before Its Release, And It’s Definitely A Must-Watch

You definitely want to see this.

Earlier this week, I wrote a blog titled “ESPN’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Anaheim’ Trailer (and Release Date) Revealed, and It’s Really Awesome.” It was about ESPN dropping an E:60 documentary about the iconic Anaheim on June 11th. The Mighty Ducks of the NHL’s Anaheim franchise.

In short, Disney released the 1992 hit movie The Mighty Ducks and turned it into a real professional hockey team the following year. And how they started out as a mess under Disney control and eventually moved on to producing Disney magic, creating the Stanley Cup in 2003.

The kind people at ESPN saw my blog and contacted me asking if I’d be interested in watching and reviewing the documentary before its release. I’m a big sports fan and I think like a sports journalist/blogger, so I gave it my all. And here we are. Thank you ESPN!

Please watch the movie trailer before giving my opinion.

ESPN’s solid film. Solid, solid work.

I really enjoyed it throughout. Funny enough, ESPN sent me the documentary in four different parts, and after each part I couldn’t wait to get to the next. Imagine I’m on my laptop and trying to get out of full screen as soon as I’m done with one part and rushing to my email to open the next part. It was so good.

My only gripe is that this film feels bigger than just an E:60. Given how legendary the Mighty Ducks brand is, how iconic this story is, and how well-made the movie is, ESPN should have made his 30/30 movie all-out. I don’t think so. When it ended, I was left with a desire to see more. It’s just that I enjoyed this movie.

With that said, we encourage you to check it out — it airs on Sunday, June 11th at 11am ET / 8am PT on ESPN and ESPN+. At just 32, she was still discovering a lot of new things and clearing up a lot of confusion about both the Mighty Ducks movie and series. And this whole storyline is epic. On top of that, I couldn’t help but admire the gorgeous Mighty Ducks jersey. they were so cool

I’m still missing:

I don’t want to reveal too much in describing how great this movie is. Because I personally want everyone to go see this movie and be as interested as I am. And you don’t even have to be a hockey fan to enjoy this movie. No, you don’t even have to be a sports fan.

Let me tell you… it’s a really good movie. It’s a really, really good movie. (Related: Inter Miami’s Instagram followers increase by NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS franchises after signing Lionel Messi)

Please be there on Sunday. I know it will, even though I’ve already seen it. (Seriously! That’s a good thing!)
