Ted Kaczynski, known as the Unabomber, was found dead in a federal prison on Saturday at the age of 81, according to the Federal Prison Service.
Kaczynski killed three people and injured 23 more in a series of bombings from 1978 to 1995, making him one of America’s most notorious criminals. Kaczynski was a self-proclaimed environmental activist who targeted individuals he believed were responsible for technological progress.
Kaczynski was found dead Saturday morning in his cell at the Federal Prison Medical Center in Buttner, North Carolina. according to to the Associated Press.
