Robert “Bob” Baka, 71, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on April 18, 2023. He lived in Clifton, Arizona all his life.
Bob is the eldest son of Gilbert Baka and Mary Baka. He loved his parents and his three sisters Carla, Rosanna and Terry very much. Bob married his beloved Jackie (Lane) in 1972 and had three daughters, Yvette (Sally), Kimberly (Jorge) and Pamela (Philip). He worked for Phelps as a tinsmith on his Dodge for 37 years. He left a lasting impact on everyone he met and worked with over the years.
To the family his name was Hung, Papa, Papa. He was first and foremost a family man. He loved spending time with his family camping, fishing, watching movies and barbecuing. He loved nothing more than being a “daddy” to his 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
he was our hero. He taught us faith, kindness, how to be strong, and how to always take care of our family. These words describe him, but there aren’t enough words to express how much he means to us. It’s sad that I can’t see Dad, Hung, Papa. Until the day we meet again. we love you to the moon Good night, God bless you, we love you.
