Memorial Day weekend includes local cemetery services, as well as an annual cemetery tour by the Yuma Museum.
Yuma VFW and American Legion will once again host worship services.
The first will be on Sunday at 9:00 am in Pleasant Valley with Reverend Brunner giving a speech.
On Remembrance Day, a service will be held at Eckley Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. followed by a service at Yuma Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be attended by the Reverend Michael Fitzsimmons as a guest speaker. Dave Hoch provides music at his Eckley and Yuma services, and Carol White sings “Taps” at all three of his services.
Once again, see this week’s issue for a list of all veterans buried in West Yuma County Cemetery.
