Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo starts Friday in Apache Junction

The Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo is a rain or shine event from February 24-26, with all proceeds donated to local children’s organizations, attracting thousands to the city of Apache Junction and its shopping streets. will gather.

This rodeo is presented by the Lost Dutchman Days Commission, a partnership between the Apache Junction Mounted Rangers and Superstition Mountain Promotions Corporation.

The eight-event rodeo will see professional cowboys and cowgirls battle it out for cash prizes every day at 1:30 PM at the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds on Tomahawk Road (1590 E. Lost Canadian Blvd.).

Classic events include bareback, calf roping, saddlebronk, steer wrestling, ladies breakaway roping, barrel racing, team roping and crowd favorite bull riding. Trick rider Madison McDonald will be performing for all three days, according to reports. Ross Dutchman Days.org.

Rodeo tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under at the gate.

Carnival, rodeo, vendor booths, complimentary entertainment, dining and more will be held February 24-26 at the Main Event Center at the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds (1590 E. Lost Dental Blvd). Admission to the event center is $2. Parking is free. .
