Vanderbilt University Clinic Stops Sex Change Procedures For Minors In Wake Of Tennessee Law

Tennessee is one of 11 states with laws restricting child sex reassignment procedures.

“Gender-affirming care will remain legal during our challenge period if we obtain a preliminary injunction from a judge that blocks the enforcement of certain parts of the law before the effective date of July 1. Similar laws are being blocked in Alabama and Arkansas while the trials are ongoing,” ACLU spokesman Gillian Brunstetter in Tennessee told the Nashville Post.
