You don’t have to go far to enjoy a scenic drive in Arizona. From the Beeline Highway to the Grand Canyon South Rim Scenic Drive, you’ll wind your way through the state’s incredible beauty. If you ask me what my favorite scenic drive in Arizona is, I’d say it’s part of Highway 89A through Oak Creek Canyon. And when visiting Sedona, be sure to travel along the Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Drive, making a few stops along the way.
Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Drive is part of Highway 89A, but stands out for its sheer scenic beauty and jaw-dropping scenery. Beginning in Sedona, you can continue through Oak Creek Canyon and from there to Flagstaff if you wish.
89A between Sedona and Flagstaff is about 63 miles, while the Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Drive portion is about 22 miles long. However, we recommend setting aside plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and the must-see spots below.
