Rescuers responded at the Grand Canyon West Skywalk after a 33-year-old man fell into the Grand Canyon.

A man has died after falling 4,000 feet off a sidewalk at a popular Grand Canyon attraction, according to Arizona officials.
The man, identified only as a 33-year-old man, was on the Grand Canyon West skywalk before crashing over the edge into the canyon below, according to the Mojave County Sheriff’s Department of Search and Rescue. in a Facebook post.
On June 5th, a technical rope rescue team responded to the Skywalk, a horseshoe-shaped glass bridge that extends up to 70 feet. over the canyon rim – After reports that someone has exceeded the limit.
Two rope experts “traveled to the scene in a Kingman Ranger helicopter and determined the man was dead,” the post said. The sheriff’s office said it was investigating the incident.
The man’s body was later transferred to a hospital. Hualapai Nationis located in northwest Arizona and is a federally recognized Indian tribe, the sheriff’s office reported.
