Seriously… why can’t I find romance in baseball?
We all love talking moments, and Sunday’s New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game did just that through the classic exchange between a father and his two sons in the stands. gave us And it was perfectly tailored for Father’s Day.
As father Pat Mulligan and his two children, Jack and Charlie, were enjoying their duel at Fenway Park, a dispassionate fan decided to give the family a foul ball and hand it to their youngest son.
At first, it seemed like a fun moment for dads to get official MLB merchandise to share with their kids. However, the moment quickly faded away. Little Charlie tried to throw the ball back onto the field, driving his older brother Jack into a complete frenzy. And because of that, the poor father had to deal with two children at the same time, and he was completely confused.

Fortunately, the Mulligan family didn’t end up empty-handed as pitchers for the Red Sox. Kenley Jansen I asked what happened.
While the Mulligans were being interviewed in a follow-up interview, Jack revealed that Jansen gave them both his signed ball and jersey in exchange for his (thankfully temporary) grief. Pat also said that Charlie was so excited to be given the ball that he couldn’t help throwing it well.
