Electronic Arts (EA) has reportedly been sued over deals offered to players in connection with the video game, according to Front Office Sports.
Marketing and licensing agency Brandr Group is suing EA over the name, image, and similarity (NIL) deals EA provided to players. according to front office sports. The agency claimed to have been in contact with EA both in 2021 and 2022 regarding its participation in the video game. In an email, EA allegedly said that trading for players from The Brandr Group schools would be done through an agency. However, Front Office Sports reports that EA has decided to partner with OneTeam Partners in May 2023.
