City of Kingman Completes Work on the White Cliffs Trail System Phase II Connector Project | The Buzz -The buzz in Bullhead City – Lake Havasu City – Kingman – Arizona – California

KINGMAN, Arizona – The City of Kingman invites the public to a tape cutting on Thursday, June 29 at 9:00 am.th At the newly completed White Cliffs Trail System Phase II Connector Project. The ribbon cutting will take place at the North Trailhead (Uptown) at 914 Gates Avenue between Servat Cliffs Practice Range and Elks Lodge.

This project was made possible by the donation of two grants from the Arizona State Parks Commission. The first of his $99,000 grants was used to create the Connector Trail, and the second of his $162,000 grants was used to complete Phase II. of .8 milesThe Connector Trail connects trailheads in downtown Kingman. north end of 3rd Street leading to uptown trailhead near Servat Cliffs Golf Course(Attached map shows the White Cliffs Trail system).

The new trail gains elevation to two separate mesas northeast and south of the Wagon Trail. The new “Upper Trail” will join the summits of the eastern and western mesas, separated by a roadbed. The roadbed is a destination in itself, offering dramatic views of the Hualapai Mountains, East Kingman, Serbat Cliffs Golf Course and downtown Kingman. The city also installed two of his message board signs at the end of each trailhead with current mapping. downtown and uptown.
