PHOENIX — An 18-year-old man from Apache Junction died Sunday afternoon after being shot in the head.
Police said the 17-year-old suspect and three other people arrived at the house where the shooting occurred at Block 1400 South Warner Drive at Apache Junction and got into an altercation, in which the suspect brandished a gun and shot the victim dead. .
After the shooting, the suspects fled in a car to a residence in Mesa.
Upon arrival, one of the vehicle’s occupants called police.
When police officers arrived at the Apache Junction residence, they found and rescued the victim. He was taken to hospital in serious condition. he died in the hospital.
The suspect was found, arrested, and imprisoned.
