On June 25, a group of naked cyclists took part in a Seattle Pride Month parade, exposing their genitals to families with children.
Cyclists, considered the mainstay of the Seattle Pride Parade, cycled downtown on Fourth Avenue. The video showed a naked man in rainbow paint giving a high-five to a parade participant. A video later showed naked men showering in a fountain with children nearby.
The video caused an immediate backlash online.

“We have not shared the video. But there is a lot of outrage over the Seattle Pride event where men appeared naked around children. I attended NYC Pride and it was a fun, family-friendly event.” Co-host of The View Alyssa Farrar Franklin tweeted.
“If you’re going to paint yourself, walk around naked, or play in a public fountain, I question your level of sanity. I think we should put it in.” tweeted Radio show host Dennis Michael Lynch.
“The pride parade is nothing less than an opportunity for exhibitionists to get thrills at the expense of children.” I tweeted Social media commentator known by the name “Greg”.
Democratic Washington State Rep. Pramila Jayapal tweeted In early June, he announced that he would be participating in the Pride Parade in Seattle.
“Hey Seattle folks, I will be attending the 49th Annual Seattle Pride Parade on June 25th. Bet the team and I go there loud and proud!” he tweeted.
Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell attended praised the parade on Twitter
“Our diversity makes us stronger,” Harrell said. Support and you belong here,” Harrell tweeted.
The backlash against the parade comes amid growing debate over whether LGBT-themed events are appropriate for children. Some red states are move to Restrict or prohibit children from participating in events such as drag shows.some cities in florida cancel Or you could hold an age-restricted Pride Month parade or event, citing state laws that prohibit children from seeing “live adult performances.”
