PEORIA, Arizona — Authorities say a search and rescue operation is underway for a man who went missing in Lake Pleasant just before noon.
The Peoria Fire and Medical Department and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office are searching for the missing swimmer.
The MCSO said a witness told police that he saw the man submerged but did not resurface. The man’s identity was not immediately revealed.
