Things only get worse for Bud Light.
Anheuser-Busch’s Bud Light has been seeing sluggish sales since its horribly wrong decision to partner with Dylan Mulvaney. And judging by the latest sales data, the bleeding isn’t likely to stop anytime soon. In fact, the blow to Bud Light is even worse.
Data for the week ending June 17, released online by Bump Williams Consulting and Nielsen IQ, shows beer company sales down a whopping 28.5% compared to the same period in 2022. new york post.
Last week, Bud Light was down 26.8%, but this week it actually fell. bad than before.
When it comes to the Anheuser-Busch brand as a whole, Bud Light isn’t the only beer being hit by the Awakening.Budweiser sales are declining, along with other drinks 12.3%Data from Bump Williams Consulting and Nielsen IQ showed Bush Lite down 8.1% and Michelob Ultra down 4%.
Bud Light’s competitors, on the other hand, have taken full advantage of the collapse to skyrocket their numbers. Rival Yungling Lager is up 25.1%, while Coors Lite is up 21.8% and Miller Lite is up 16%.
It’s not just about sales either. Anheuser-Busch’s stock price fell 15.33% since the Mulvaney campaign. At the end of March around the time of the NCAA college basketball tournament, the beer company’s stock price was $66.73. As of Monday afternoon, it has fallen to $56.50. Anheuser-Busch shares fell 15% in aggregate.

Three months, or a quarter of a year, after the Dylan Mulvaney debacle, Bud Light still hasn’t lost his mind.
Absolutely unbelievable, they’re here now to make new weekly lows. Frankly, they deserve it. And it’s not just Dylan Mulvaney. I recently blogged about how Bud Light sponsored Pride Toronto. The event featured naked men parading in front of young children. It’s utterly despicable and I hope this “awakened” filth undergoes an even worse decline. (Related: What a shame!
