A Florentine man pleaded guilty to shooting another man during an argument and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Pinal County Superior Court Judge Stephen Fuller last month sentenced Donald Bullock, 43, to 10 years in prison followed by five years of supervised probation.
Bullock pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and kidnapping charges related to an incident in March in which authorities said he shot dead another 43-year-old man.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office responded to the shooting in Florence, when sheriffs found a man dead in the driveway of a home.
Police said they found a black Mercedes-Benz matching the description of the vehicle that fled the scene, stopped it, and found Block inside.
Eyewitnesses and victims said Bullock and the victim were arguing in their home before one of the bullets fired by Bullock hit the victim’s torso, officials said.
“During the incident, Bullock dragged the shot victim into a back room of the house and disrupted his roommate’s attempts to take the victim out of the house and call 911, preventing assistance to the victim.” said the official. release.
