“We wanted to build on previous films and apply that knowledge to something practical and realistic, taking this train sequence to another level,” McCurry told Variety.

McQuarrie explained the big business involved.

“We didn’t have enough trains to destroy,” he says. “If you wanted to destroy trains, you had to build trains.”
