Some parts of Southern Arizona could be getting rain

Tucson, Arizona (KGUN) — Today was a great day with some clouds in sight. This is the first small peak of the monsoon.

Depending on the time of day, clouds would cast shadows over parts of the Catalina Mountains.

However, it was still very hot outside today, with the highest temperature in Tucson reaching about 104 degrees.

I’ve seen many similar three digit numbers in the Tucson metropolitan area. Southern Arizona mostly saw him in the triple figures, but in Cochise County he was seen more often in the 90 figures.

Tucson gets a little cooler in the evenings, but honestly not much.

Tucson gets around 88 degrees at midnight, but luckily it drops to 70 degrees early in the morning.

However, tomorrow’s temperature will return to 104 degrees and the high 90s in the Sierra Vista.

Rain is possible in Cochise County on Tuesday and Wednesday.

However, it looks like there will be no rain in Tucson this week.

Triple-digit temperatures this week in Tucson, and could hit 109 degrees next Sunday.

Sierra Vista will see mid to high 90s before reaching 100 degrees next Sunday.

Southern Arizona is so hot!

Cochise fixed it again
